Why I chose my Mom and Aunt for the first goal

Why I chose my Mom and Aunt for the first goal:

After moving back home I ended up getting really sick and turns out I had Type II Diabetes and I had been walking around with a blood glucose close to 1000 and I did not even know it! I was always sick and had illness issues at work and coming to work at times because of these pains (along with my constant transportation from not having a car and then car issues from purchasing a broken down one, that allowed myself to believe was not that bad), ha ha and that's not even the half of it. I did not think all the problems or issues I had were that bad, so I got use to the hardships, nonsense, and hoped that one day it would all get better if I just kept doing what I could. However, it got to a point where I moved home and my family eventually saw how sick I got and I was immediately taken to the emergency room. There were a few trips, and of course hospital bills to go along with them, yet my my average stay was usually for about a week at a time. It took a while for the Doctor's and me to find a treatment plan (even after doing all that I was given to do) that would work and lately I have been consistently well. My Mom has been a super big help in me get better. I was hospitalized back to back and she even though she has her own struggles she still did her best to make sure I was well. My Aunt is my Dad's sister who I have never met in person, however, she is welcoming me in her home with open arms while I do my best to try a new place to "start a new". Her love and support to someone she has not met but holds dear to her heart reminds me of the power of hope and positive energy.

Share my journey and show you love. Please donate $3 or more to my hopes of starting a new. Thank you so much!! -Sunshine
