So I was checking out the scene of OKC...online of course. So excited about the Art Scene they have a great deal of art festivals in town and I am totally looking forward to being apart of that and of course hopefully creating more art than I had ever dreamed. Check out the article below for more information.

Guess what, no not chicken butt, $20. I got an extra $20 donation so we are so close to the bus ticket goal. Very happy about that and totally looking forward to when I get that receipt, ha ha.

Please
support the campaign by sharing the word, and/or making a donation! -Sunshine

Why I chose my Mom and Aunt for the first goal

3/19/2014

Why I chose my Mom and Aunt for the first goal:

After moving back home I ended up getting really sick and turns out I had Type II Diabetes and I had been walking around with a blood glucose close to 1000 and I did not even know it! I was always sick and had illness issues at work and coming to work at times because of these pains (along with my constant transportation from not having a car and then car issues from purchasing a broken down one, that allowed myself to believe was not that bad), ha ha and that's not even the half of it. I did not think all the problems or issues I had were that bad, so I got use to the hardships, nonsense, and hoped that one day it would all get better if I just kept doing what I could. However, it got to a point where I moved home and my family eventually saw how sick I got and I was immediately taken to the emergency room. There were a few trips, and of course hospital bills to go along with them, yet my my average stay was usually for about a week at a time. It took a while for the Doctor's and me to find a treatment plan (even after doing all that I was given to do) that would work and lately I have been consistently well. My Mom has been a super big help in me get better. I was hospitalized back to back and she even though she has her own struggles she still did her best to make sure I was well. My Aunt is my Dad's sister who I have never met in person, however, she is welcoming me in her home with open arms while I do my best to try a new place to "start a new". Her love and support to someone she has not met but holds dear to her heart reminds me of the power of hope and positive energy.

Share my journey and show you love. Please donate $3 or more to my hopes of starting a new. Thank you so much!! -Sunshine

Okay so I have ALREADY received some feedback and I am very grateful for that. Alright so here we go. Along with the pledges made for the first two goals I will pledge 15 massages for the 1st goal and 20 for the 2nd goal. I usually do this much in a year on my own so I really did not feel a need to make note of that but they made a great point, so I just want to pledge it!

Goal #1 reached = 15 massages
Goal #2 reached = 20 massages
Goal #3 reached = 25 massages
Goal #4 reached = 50 massages
Goal #5 reached = 100 massages

Let's make this interesting!!!

In an effort to engage more support I have made a few pledges to help reach the goal. The first two are more close to home but they are the primary essentials for getting closer to the goal so check them out below. Here's where it gets nice...the higher the goal the higher my pledge. My first year out of Massage School I did Massage Therapy on a donation based gift only: primarily to Senior Citizens and Veterans. This non-profit effort set a great foundation and I want to tap in to that a bit more. So regardless of the challenges and schedule I face in my new home each pledge will be carried out with each accompanying goal that is met. Let's do this!

FUNdraising goal - $529.00: The components of the FUNdraiser have been broken down in order of priority. I am eager to make this transition as smooth as possible. If you have any concerns please let me know. -Sunshine :)

Simply Wonderful - $529 - THANK YOU!!

$50 - Massage Bag (for my portable Massage table, I no longer have one and having one would make life a bit easier, Essential Carry Case $50 + tax shipping and fees)

NO tension here - $479.00

$199 - ABMP Insurance Renewal (Insurance is expiring very soon, I would like to ensure that I am able to use my License without worrying whether or not I will make enough money to renew my Insurance, if I do not get a decent job in town)

I'm ready for my close up - $280.00

$100 - Interview Attire (Recently lost 50lbs from being sick for a while, I'm fine now but my clothes are not fitting me as well as I would like or hope. Reaching this goal would help me stand out as a serious candidate aside from others)

Hello Operator - $180.00

$25 - Cell Phone bill (250 minutes, unlimited texting with the AT&T go phone plan for $25 + tax, so that I can be reached by family, friends, potential employers, and any other concerns)
